Welcome to the Ivy Guest House Homepage
The Ivy
Guest House is a listed Victorian town house
which has been tastefully upgraded thus retaining many of its original
features. It is a quiet family run establishment run by the proprietors
Don and Dolly Green. The theme of the house is apparent as you pass
through the well kept and colourful front garden with an Ivy Basket
as its centre piece and a rambling Ivy adorning the
front of the building.

We are located
just over 1 mile from the city centre on the south side. The excellent
bus service (approximately 5 minutes), easy walking (approximately 25
minutes) and private car park which takes 7 cars, allows you to leave
the car and concentrate on enjoying one of the worlds most attractive
cities.

We have eight
bedrooms all of which have their own bathrooms (no shared bathrooms)
six of these are en-suite, the remaining two have an internal wash hand
basin and their private bathrooms just outside the bedroom doors. All
bathrooms have power showers delivering a deluge of controlled hot water.
The bedrooms two of which are shown are all centrally heated, equipped
with tea & coffee making facilities and colour TV.
|
The
bedrooms have just been redecorated and fitted with excellent
quality secondary glazing to ensure a warm and quiet environment
in which our guests are able to relax. We request that guests
wishing to smoke do so in the three lounge areas as the bedrooms
and the dining room are smoke free zones.
